THE CHAPTER IN OUR COMMUNITY

Hawaii CJC supports ongoing training in best practices for members of the multidisciplinary teams that serve victims of child abuse at our centers through providing regular training tailored to the needs of each island, connecting expert consultants to help process tough cases, and aiding the development of their resilience in a difficult field. We also support training so that every community in our state has the needed expertise to recognize the signs and address child abuse; we support increasing awareness of information such as reporting requirements; and finally, developing outreach materials that can be used statewide for our Centers and Friends.
